Rules that know which month they are in

Rates change. Ceilings change. Re-running an old month should use the rules that applied then, not today's.

EPF

Employee and employer contributions, the wage ceiling and whether it is restricted, and contributions on full wages where an establishment does that.

EPS

Eligibility decided per member with the reason recorded — age, prior membership, and joining date against the wage threshold. The employer share is the remainder after EPS, not an independent calculation.

EDLI

Calculated on its own capped wage, kept separate from the provident fund share.

Administration charges

Charged per member and reconciled against the establishment minimum on the challan rather than on each worker.

ESI

Contribution periods of April to September and October to March, coverage continuing to the end of a period once it starts, and the average daily wage exemption from the employee share.

Professional tax

State-specific slabs. Where a state has not been configured the tax shows as zero with an explicit warning, because silence would hide a real liability.

On verification
Statutory rates are held in a dated configuration file rather than in code. Each rule carries its own verification status, and any rule that has not been checked against a primary source says so inside the product. The ECR layout has not been confirmed against a live EPFO upload — test it with a trial upload before relying on it. This product is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by EPFO or ESIC.

Try it with your own attendance sheet

Upload the file you already use. You will see what the system read, what it matched, and what it wants you to check — before anything is calculated.
